THE punch stats from Chris Eubank Jr’s thrilling win over Conor Benn have been revealed.
A stunning 35 years after their fathers first clashed in the ring, Eubank “upheld the family name” as the fight went the distance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

All three judges scored the bout 116-112 in Jr’s favour and many fans were not sure who the winner was when the final bell went.
But the punch stats show that Eubank was the better fighter throughout the contest.
He landed more punches in all 12 rounds and he landed a whopping 152 more overall.
Eubank hit the spot with 40 per cent of his punches, compared to Benn‘s 36.
By the final round it was frantic and 200 punches were thrown.
The stats left fans shocked, with one saying: “Wow. Chris absolutely outboxed Conor. Thought it was more even until seeing those results.”
Another added: “Eubank won by a mile.”
A third wrote: “Eubank outlanded Benn in every round and landed a 150 more punches over the fight and people are out here saying the the result didn’t go the right way.”

Benn’s promoter Eddie Hearn was one of the people unhappy with the scoring and he said: “I couldn’t split them at the end. I thought Benn was winning the fight. I thought he lost the last two rounds.
“116-112, I’m not going to… we’ve seen him moan before about scores. It is what it is.
“I don’t see Chris Eubank winning that fight by four rounds at all. But forget that, just unbelievable respect for both men.
“I could not be prouder of Conor Benn for what he’s been through and the heart he showed in the ring tonight.
“Nigel Benn was the people’s champion. Tonight Conor Benn became the people’s champion.”
