MADELEINE McCann suspect Christian B appeared in court today on separate sex charges.
Brueckner, 47, strode into the hearing with a cold expression on his face before his lawyer ranted at judges.
He is accused of three rapes and two sex assaults.
After entering the court, Brueckner’s lawyers claimed one of the lay judges was unfit to sit on the case and could not be relied upon as far as his client was concerned due to comments she had previously made.
Brueckner’s request was granted and proceedings were postponed until next Friday.
