CONOR MCGREGOR has been warned he’s walked the same destructive path boxing legend Mike Tyson took.
The UFC superstar was at the top of the combat sports world from 2016 to 2018 after becoming a two-division champion and boxing Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Inactivity, injuries and controversies galore have plagued the Irishman over the last seven years, a time in which his physical powers have declined.
And Teddy Atlas believes the combination of inactivity and injury – in particular – have robbed McGregor of his prime years the same way they did to his former student Tyson.
The legendary boxing coach told CanadaCasino.ca: “There’s a window on physical talent. He is older now he’s been through injuries.
“That physical talent he has, has been inactive, that physical talent is obviously not what it once was.
“He was a great counterpuncher. He could punch.
“He was a southpaw. He was tremendous in that window of time.”
He continued: “He was tremendous, and he was tough, like they all were.
“Because he went through his times where he fought with injuries, but like Mike Tyson, I don’t know that he’s that guy anymore.
“Forget about all what we want him to be. I don’t know that he’s the same guy anymore.”
McGregor, 35, hasn’t fought since breaking his left leg in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier in July 2021.
The Irishman stunningly claimed he’d make his eagerly-anticipated return in a shock exhibition boxing match against Logan Paul in India later this year.
But UFC supremo Dana White poured cold on the shock crossover clash earlier this month.
During an appearance on Pardon My Take, he said: “No.”Hopefully, Conor McGregor returns in the fall.”
McGregor’s next fight, wherever it’ll take place, will be his first since being found civilly liable for assaulting Nikita Hand at a Dublin Hotel in December 2018.
The Irishman – who was accused of “raping and battering” Ms Hand – has vowed to appeal the verdict of last month’s civil trial at Dublin’s High Court.
