Way too PC
COPS who joined up to catch actual criminals must be in despair as their out-of-control chiefs lose the plot.
Too often hard-pressed officers are used to crack down on imagined offences that should have nothing to do with them.
30 or so Met police smashed their way into a Quaker meeting house this week
The latest heavy-handed over-reach came as 30 or so Met police smashed their way into a Quaker meeting house to arrest and handcuff six young women discussing non-violent protest.
In the same week we learned parents Maxie Allen and Rosalind Levine were arrested at home by six Hertfordshire police after criticising their daughter’s primary school in a WhatsApp group.
They were detained for 11 hours and investigated for five weeks before the case was dropped without charges.
