Two young girls were found dead in the house alongside a man and woman in a quadruple tragedy.
They were named locally as Bartlomiej Kuczynski, 45, and his two daughters – as well as a 36-year-old woman who has not been identified.
Norfolk Police have confirmed that the people found dead in the house this morning were two girls and a man and a woman who were all from the same family.
But only three of them lived at the house full time, with a fourth residing there non-permanently.
A mum living opposite the house said: “We don’t know what happened. It is just devastating.
“The fact that children are dead makes it even worse. I can’t imagine what has gone on.
“I used to exchange neighbourly smiles with the family who lived there.”
Another neighbour said Mr Kuczynski had been reported missing around a month ago, just before Christmas.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Burgess said: “All four people are believed to be known to one another.
“Enquiries are under way to formally identify them. We do believe they were all family members at this time.
“Three of the people are believed to have resided at the address and another non-permanently.”
Burgess confirmed that cops had contact with the family during a missing persons inquiry before Christmas.
A police cordon is currently in place on the quiet residential estate in Allan Bedford Crescent.
One local told the BBC that police are not letting people leave their homes while they investigate.
