A DAD found his two sons lying dead in their bunk beds after they were murdered by their mum, a court heard.
Selvin Thomas was due to pick up two-year-old Elijah Thomas and Marley Thomas, five, for a weekend visit when he made the discovery.

Jurors heard he had split with the boys’ mum Kara Alexander, 47, three months earlier.
On December 16, 2022, Selvin went to Alexander’s home in Dagenham, East London, after growing concerned he had not heard from her.
When he arrived, the mum said Elijah and Marley were upstairs sleeping, Kingston Crown Court was told.
Selvin went to their bedroom to find the boys were both lying dead together on the lower bunk of their shared bed.
Elijah and Marley had either been drowned or suffocated, it was said.
Prosecutor Philip Evans KC said: “Following the discovery of Marley and Elijah, Mr Thomas – clearly very distraught – called the emergency services.
“The ambulance service and police attended, there was nothing that could be done for the boys they were very clearly dead and had been for some hours.”
Jurors heard that Alexander fled the home through gardens on to a neighbouring street before she was arrested.
There was no sign that anyone else other than Alexander had entered or been in the house, the court heard.
Mr Evans said the mum denies “interfering with the normal mechanics of their breathing” – i.e. drowning or suffocating them.
Alexander has also denied “intending to kill them or intending them serious harm”.
The court heard the family previously lived together in Hackney but Alexander and the boys moved when their parents split.
Selvin kept in regular contact with his sons following the end of the relationship.
The mum has pleaded not guilty to two counts of murder and the trial continues.
