But it wasnā€™t only his talent that made the Runcorn native stand out in front of a stunned crowd.

It was also his beard, which he evidently shaves ā€“ despite his extremely young age.

The Nuke appeared on live radio where Andy Goldstein told him he and the other hosts had a bet that he canā€™t be so young and instead must be in his mid-30s.

However, the schoolboy assured Goldstein and the rest they didnā€™t get their moneyā€™s worth as he in fact has had his signature beard since the age of 14.

LIttler told talkSPORT: ā€œYouā€™ve had a bet? Youā€™ve lost your money there. Cause Iā€™m 16.

ā€œIā€™d say [Iā€™ve had the beard] a good two years now.ā€

Littler is still buzzing about his stunning debut, mainly due to the incredible crowd at Ally Pally.

The darts protege even revealed that the audience came up with some creative chants as they sang, ā€œHeā€™s got school in the morningā€.

Littler added: ā€œOn the stage, the crowd was just nonstop.

ā€œThey were even chanting, ā€˜Heā€™s got school in the morningā€™. Which is unbelievable.

ā€œWhen I throw my darts, I canā€™t think where to go for. I couldnā€™t compose myself cause itā€™s just nonstop in there. Itā€™s unbelievable.ā€

Littlerā€™s dream run continued on Thursday as he also defeated Andrew Gilding to reach the third round.
