The Republican leader arrived at around 11.06am at the coastal course in Girvan, Ayrshire.
Police were seen patrolling the golf course as associates of Trump played a round of golf earlier in the morning.
Trump was seen blowing kisses to supporters shouting ‘We Love you Trump’ as he left the third green.
Despite dire warning of protests at the Ayrshire course, nobody turned up on the blustery, grey morning.
The only people on the dunes near the course, other than the world’s media, were three hardy Trump fans from Liverpool.
Kay English, 38, said she and hubby Tom had travelled from England to show the President that he was loved by people in the UK.
The pair wore ‘Make England Great Again’ caps modelled on the MAGA design and waved a Stars and Stripes.
They held up a crude banner mocking Sir Keir Starmer which Trump tried to read from the course.
Kay said: “I shouted ‘We Love you Trump’ because I want him to realise those protests against him are the minority.
“I was so happy that he blew me a kiss.
“I like him because he stands for the people, unlike our politicians.”
Trump began his round around 10.45am with an entourage of 27 golf buggies following on behind him.
Secret service snipers were positioned on dunes and dozens of cops were stationed around the course and on the beach.
The President was also joined by his son Eric again this morning on the Ailsa course.
His other son Donald Trump Jr was also spotted on the course.
He was driving a golf buggie with wife Vanessa in the passenger seat.

The President always played first but appeared to be struggling with the brisk wind.
He had to play out of a bunker on the fourth but was able to pitch from the sand in one shot.
The massive group are likely to finish their round about 2.30pm.
Later on today, Trump will meet President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen for talks on the trading relationship between Europe and the US.
The talks come ahead of discussions with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer on Monday, which are also expected to focus on the issue of trade.
The UK and the US struck a trade deal recently, with discussions between the two men expected to focus on this – with reports suggesting Sir Keir will be looking for the US to cut the tariffs for British steel.
Donald Trump blasts 80s chart-topper from golf buggy
DONALD Trump pressed play on an iconic eighties track yesterday as he played golf in Scotland.
The US President teed off his five-day visit with a round at his Turnberry resort, accompanied by a massive security team.
Angry campaigners waved creative signs in Aberdeen and Edinburgh as the American leader enjoyed a round of golf at his luxury Ayrshire resort.
But this didn’t get the leader of the free world down as he breezed past them while listening to Billy Joel’s 1983 hit Uptown Girl.
Also on President Trump’s playlist was Memory from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats, All Out of Love by Air Supply, Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers and Bridge Over Troubled Water by Simon and Garfunkel.
The start of discussions show the US President getting down to business on what is a private, five-day visit to Scotland.
On Saturday he was spotted playing a round at the famous Turnberry course, which he purchased back in 2014.
A massive security operation was in place as the President played golf on the course.
He drove his own golf buggy, but a heavy security presence saw Trump flanked by a fleet of similar vehicles.
Even before he took to the course, police officers and military personnel could be seen searching the area around the Trump Turnberry resort – which has had a metal fence erected around it as part of heightened security measures.
No protesters were seen while he was golfing on Saturday – but hundreds of people gathered in both Edinburgh and Aberdeen for demonstrations against his visit organised by the Stop Trump Coalition.
After spending some time at his South Ayrshire resort, the President will head to Aberdeenshire, where he is expected to open a second course at his Trump International golf resort in Balmedie.
During his time in the north-east, Mr Trump is also due to meet Scottish First Minister John Swinney.
Mr Swinney welcomed the President of the European Commission to Scotland ahead of her meeting with Donald Trump.
Ursula von der Leyen travelled to Glasgow on Saturday ahead of her meeting with the US president at his Trump Turnberry resort in Girvan, Ayrshire, to discuss maintaining trade relations.
However, she met with Mr Swinney on Saturday evening to discuss the UK’s relationship with the European Union, and the wars in Gaza and Ukraine.
Mr Swinney said: “I was pleased to welcome the president of The European Commission Ursula von der Leyen to Scotland.
“During our meeting, I outlined Scotland’s continued support for the European Union’s leadership in demanding free and safe humanitarian aid in Gaza, alongside efforts to bring an end to the unbearable suffering unfolding.
“I also took the opportunity to reiterate Scotland’s steadfast commitment to Ukraine and the country’s commitment to work with European partners on key issues, including energy.”
