Driver gets instant karma after lobbing £50 parking ticket on the floor… as she’s slapped with £250 fine for littering

THIS is the moment a driver gets instant karma after hurling a parking ticket to the floor in a fit of rage.

The motorist is slapped with a fine for littering after a civil enforcement officer watched her throw the parking ticket on the floor.

She was caught unloading her car in a no-loading zone and approached by an enforcement officer who issued her with a £50 fine.

The incident unfolded in Falmouth, Cornwall and was caught on camera.

Video footage shows the woman and the enforcement officer exchanging angry words at the side of the road.

The lady can then be seen grabbing the parking ticket off her windshield and tossing it onto the floor.

She then makes to get into her car and drive away as the enforcement officer watches on dumbfounded.

The woman was later sent her parking ticket in the mail and on top of that, she received a £250 fine for littering, reduced to £150 for early payment.

The entire interaction was caught on the enforcement officers body worn camera.

Video footage shows the woman hurling abuse at the officer after he issued her with the ticket.

Falmouth council are coming down hard on littering with two other people caught on camera issued with fines.

One video shows a woman dropping an empty drinks bottle as she enters the passenger side of a parked car.

Another shows a man throwing an egg custard carton from the drivers side window of his car as he motors along a country lane in the St Austell area.

Both received fines of £250 for littering which were reduced to £150 for early payment.

Falmouth Council’s enforcement teams tracked each individual down and dolled out the fines after both people admitted the offences.

Both reportedly paid their fines within a 14 day period.

Video of both incidents was captured by CCTV cameras in and around Falmouth.

Councillor Thalia Marrington, Portfolio Holder for Community Safety and Public Health at Cornwall Council, told the Mail Online: “Cornwall is beautiful, and we want to keep it that way.

“There is no excuse for dropping litter and when we have evidence of these offences, we will always try to trace those responsible.

“As well as public CCTV cameras, more and more people now have doorbell and home security cameras that capture this type of offence.

“I urge anyone with such footage to report it to us so we can investigate.”
