Michael van Gerwen will be on home soil this weekend, and looks to put the disappointment of missing out on the Premier League Darts play-offs behind him.
The Green Machine failed to win any of the 16 nights of Premier League Darts, and was beaten to fourth place by Nathan Aspinall, with The Asp not making the trip for the tournament.
After topping the Premier League Darts table, Luke Littler will not enter the tournament, leaving just Luke Humphries and Gerwyn Price to make the trip ahead of Thursday’s showdown at the O2 Arena.
The 2024 winner of the Dutch Darts Championship Josh Rock will return to defend his crown as the 13th seed.
