The Gunners dramatically hijacked Tottenham’s deal for Eze on Wednesday night, after their bitter rivals thought they have secured a transfer.
Eze, 27, is now set to move to the red side of North London and, if done quickly enough, could feature against Leeds on Saturday.
SunSport exclusively revealed that he will no longer be playing in Palace’s Conference League clash on Thursday night in order to pursue the move.
And an incredible tweet from Eze has now re-emerged on social media, which he posted in April 2015.
Defiant Eze wrote the message when he was released by Millwall aged just 16 years old, having already been let go by Arsenal as a teenager.
It read: “I swear imma make it and when I do, they’re gunna show this tweet lol”.
And fans were quick to laud Eze after his prophecy came true.
One posted: “Believe yourself.”

Eze bounced back after being let go by Millwall, as he signed for Queens Park Rangers after impressing on a trial.
Eze spent four years at the club, with one spent on loan at Wycombe Wanderers.
