British boxer Scotney, 27, currently holds the IBF and WBO Super-Bantamweight belts, and she’ll have the chance to add the WBC title to her collection.

Since going pro in 2020, Scotney has been perfect, winning all ten of her bouts.

Her last fight against Mea Motu put boxing fans on notice.

After an early setback in the first round, the Brit was seen with a huge slash next to her eye, but with the help of her cutman during the rounds, she managed to tough it out for a unanimous victory.

The 27-year-old now returns to the boxing ring six months later to fight on this huge card in Madison Square Garden.

She faces the WBC World Super-Bantamweight champion Yamileth Mercado.

The Mexican is more experienced compared to her counterpart, with 24 wins and three losses.

After losing to Amanda Serrano in 2021, Mercado made the switch to Super-Bantamweight and hasn’t looked back.

In her first bout at the new weight division, she successfully claimed the WBC title and has since defended the belt six times.

The pair now face a tough test with their belts on the line and now a huge Netflix audience is expected to tune into this all female fight card.
