South Africa charged to a seven-wicket victory after bowling England out for just 131 after 24.3 overs.

The second game of the series is being played TODAY at Lord’s cricket ground in London.

But the third game is expected to be disrupted by an emergency alert test on people’s phones.

A siren will play on millions of people’s phones, which is planned to sound on Sunday at 3pm.

This will occur during the match between England and South Africa at the Utilita Bowl in Hampshire.

City AM have claimed that the 50-over match will pause at 3pm even if the teams are on the field.

The alarm will potentially play for up to ten seconds.

An ECB spokesperson said: “Plans are in place to ensure fans attending Utilita Bowl on Sunday are aware of the national test of the emergency alerts system, which is due to take place during the third England Men’s Metro Bank ODI vs South Africa.

“We will work with match officials ahead of the game, and take appropriate action depending on the state of the game.

“Fans will be kept updated with in-stadia announcements as the game progresses.”

The cricket fixture will not be the only sporting event that will be disrupted.

The Super League derby between Hull KR and Hull FC will now kick off at 3.05pm.

This is so the game will start after the alarm has sounded.
