The Scots got off to a good start against Italy, but an injury-ravaged game against Ireland, which saw Darcy Graham and Finn Russell go off, put a dampener on their mood.
Gregor Townsend’s have retained the Calcutta Cup since 2021, having won their last four meetings against the 2003 World Cup winners.
