THIS year’s Derby declarations – the first to be made 72 hours in advance – are in… and it looks like being an absolute cracker.
Aidan O’Brien has declared three for the £1.5million Group 1 – the world’s most prestigious Flat race.

But, at the time of writing, it was not yet decided who Ryan Moore will ride.
There had been a plunge on Delacroix in recent days as it looked like he would be the pick.
But long-time Derby favourite The Lion In Winter, who was a worrying drifter, was the subject of strong support in the build-up to declarations.
O’Brien has until 1pm to finalise his jockey bookings, with Wayne Lordan and Colin Keane taking the other Coolmore horses.
Some 19 runners will go to post, with the only one withdrawn at the final stage being O’Brien’s Puppet Master.
