ERIK TEN HAG has explained the absence of Jadon Sancho from his Manchester United squad to face Brighton.
Sancho, 24, is with the Red Devils squad for their match at the Amex, but was not named in the matchday squad.

The Dutch boss named an unchanged starting xi and bench from the 1-0 against Fulham last week, meaning Sancho missed out on possible minutes once again.
But Ten Hag has now explained the reason behind Sancho’s omission.
Speaking to TNT Sports before kick-off he said: “I had a choice to make.
“We had some issues, we need a full squad.
“He’s one of them and needs to compete for his position.”
