Estevao joined Chelsea this summer from Palmeiras and has quickly made himself a fan favourite at Stamford Bridge.

But the versatile winger is also turning into a cult figure for Selecao supporters.

Having already played five times for Brazil, Estevao was yet to hit the target.

And on his sixth game in the iconic yellow jersey, the youngster finally made his mark in true flamboyant style against Chile.

A deflected shot from the goalkeeper saw the ball fly high into the air while surging towards Chile’s goal line.

A number of defenders gathered to clear the ball out.

But Estevao somehow maintained his composure and launched himself into a bicycle kick before putting the ball in the back of the net.

The whiz kid was overwhelmed with emotion as he celebrated.

And Chelsea fans were particularly delighted as the first person to party with Estevao was his west London teammate Joao Pedro.

The striker has had a similar early impact for the Blues, netting five goals despite only joining from Brighton during the Club World Cup.

The ace had earlier thrown up on the field

Pedro had earlier vomited on the pitch after a collision with teammate Gabriel Martinelli.

But he was in fine form as he celebrated with Estevao before further goals from Lucas Paqueta and Bruno Guimaraes sealed a 3-0 win for Brazil.

Fans were thrilled with the goal and celebration on social media.

One said: “I was up and applauding.”

Another declared: “Love the bromance.”

One noted: “The Blues brothers.”

Another added: “That goal was pure class.”

Brazil boss and former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti was equally delighted, admitting he regularly tunes in to watch the Blues for Pedro and Estevao’s talents.

Ancelotti said: “Estevao’s bicycle kick was pure class, a quick reaction, calm finish. He’ll be crucial for us going forward.

“I watch Chelsea because of him and Joao Pedro. I’m very happy with his performance.”
