Today’s event is taking place in Germany at Munich’s Glaspalast.
Seven darts games had already taken place earlier in the day.
Stars including Cameron Menzies, Martin Lukeman and Luke Woodhouse had all enjoyed success on stage.
And supporters were gearing up for a tasty clash between Daniel Klose and Jermaine Wattimena to round off the afternoon.
But before the first dart hit the board, the sound of a fire alarm brought proceedings to a hasty end.
People were quickly ushered out of the building.
And the afternoon session was halted, leaving Klose and Wattimena’s game in limbo.
However, the PDC quickly assured fans the game would still go ahead.
They announced it would instead kick off this evening’s session of matches from 7pm.
Ryan Searle, Mike De Decker and Raymond van Barneveled are all playing tonight.
Supporters at home were quick to react to the news on social media.
One said: “European tour heritage.”
Another declared: “Prime Euro tour this.”
One noted: “Unreal.”
Another added: “Hurry up, it’s hot outside.”
