The former drug dealer, 39, also pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm for terrorist purposes after posing with a Kalashnikov rifle.

Dad-of-four Davis appeared by video from Belmarsh jail and will be sentenced next month

He has already served a jail term in Turkey for being in IS, and was arrested on arrival in the UK last August.

His cell kidnapped more than 20 Westerners between 2014 and 2015 and beheaded at least seven of them.

Hostages called the gang the Beatles due to their British accents — with Davis suspected of being “Paul”.
