COPS are urgently hunting for a 16-year-old boy who vanished after getting into difficulty while swimming with friends in a lake.
Police and emergency services scrambled to the scene at Crown Lakes near Farcet, Peterborough, around 4pm today.

Cambridgeshire Police said search teams remained at the scene this evening in a desperate bid to find the boy.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We ask that members of the public stay away from the area while this work is carried out.
“The boy’s family are aware.”
Pictures showed specialist teams scouring the river for the teenager.
There was a strong police presence on sight as the search continues.
A number of fire and ambulance vehicles were also spotted assisting at the lake.
Crown Lakes can be found on the southern outskirts of Peterborough near the village of Farcet.
It is made up of 2 large flooded brick pits and spans 87 acres of community parkland.
