She and Stuart Compton, 45, are accused of conspiring to plan and attack a girl aged under 13.
They have been charged with conspiring to rape a girl aged under 13, to sexually assault her by penetration, to sexually assault her by touching, to kidnap her, and to murder her as well as two counts of making indecent images of a child and one of perverting the course of justice.
It is alleged that Turner, who worked at Cardiff‘s University Hospital of Wales, hid a mobile phone on June 25 last year “following the arrest of her partner.”
She is also alleged to have made indecent images in Categories B and C – the second and third most serious types of illegal images of children.
Turner has been suspended from her role at the third largest university hospital in the UK while the case is ongoing.
Turner, from Cardiff, pleaded not guilty to all charges.
Compton, in Cathays, Cardiff, has also pleaded not guilty to the same charges.
They both appeared at Cardiff Crown Court earlier this month and are due to stand trial on May 12.
Turner worked in the busy operating theatre at the 800-bed University Hospital in Cardiff until she was suspended after police were contacted.
A spokeswoman for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board said: “The health board suspended the individual once we were made aware of the allegations against them.
“This is a sensitive issue and the health board has been cooperating with partners in South Wales Police.
“We are not able to comment further while court proceeding are ongoing.”
