A FIRE has broken out at Somerset House in London – with 70 firefighters battling the blaze.

The London Fire Brigade said: “Ten fire engines and around 70 firefighters are responding to a fire at Somerset House on the Strand.

“Traffic near Somerset House will be impacted as firefighters tackle a fire on the site.

“Two of the Brigade’s 32m ladders are being deployed as part of our response.”
