A FIRE has erupted in newbuild flats in Bromley – sending a massive plume of smoke into sky.
Twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters battled the blaze at a block of flats in the south east London neighbourhood.

Two flats on the tenth and eleventh floors were alight and there is still heavy congestion on the road running past the building.
Crews scrambled to the scene from fire stations across south east London after taking 16 calls this morning.
The London Fire Brigade took the first call about the fire at 9.52am this morning.
Firefighters used a 32-metre turntable ladder to reach the flames in the tower.
Locals are urged to avoid the area while crews work continue to work at the scene.
The London Fire Brigade said: “The fire at a block of flats in Bromley is now under control.
“Traffic remains congested, so please continue to avoid the area if you can.
“Crews will remain on scene for several hours damping down. The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
