He was the middle child of popular local couple, Joe and Audrey Forker who doted on their three little boys.

Friends and family said Joey loved all types of machinery and was always there helping out his dad.

The little boy is predeceased by his grandparent Nora Forker and grandparents nana Nora Friel and his papa Paddy Friel.

He is survived by his “heartbroken parents” Audrey and Joe and his “loving brothers” Jason and Jordan.

He will also be greatly missed by his grandparents Willie, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Joey will repose at McGlynns funeral home, Dungloe on Monday 25th August from 3pm – 5pm.

The removal will be strictly private to the family home and the house is strictly private at all times.

The hugely popular St Crona’s National School pupil will be laid to rest in Magheragallon Cemetery, Gaoth Dobhair following his funeral mass.

‘DEVASTATING TIME’

Yesterday family and friends comforted the couple and Joey’s two brothers following Friday evening’s awful tragedy.

Family friend and local Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher asked people to think of the Forker family in the difficult days ahead.

He said “I humbly ask that in the days ahead that our prayers and all our moral support are guided towards helping the family of the deceased at this devastating time.”

Hundreds of messages of support flooded in on social media for the heartbroken family.

Many of the messages remember little Joey and how he touched their lives during his short life.

One tribute read: “Rest in peace Joey.

“You were such a handsome little boy, full of life and loved every time you came over to play with the boys.

“Fly high with the angels and we will miss you now.”
