JAKE PAUL is closing in on a rematch with Tommy Fury – after losing out on the fight of his life against Canelo Alvarez.

Fury became the first and so far only to defeat the YouTuber-turned-boxer following his split-decision win in February 2023.

Paul revealed talks for a rematch are ongoing as he bids for revenge.

He told SunSport: “Definitely that’s on the docket and those conversations have been going on for quite some time.

“I think it is gonna happen when it makes sense for everyone, but for sure it’s gonna happen.”

Fury, 25, has fought just once since, beating Paul’s arch YouTube rival KSI, 31, in a disputed decision in October 2023.

Paul meanwhile has boxed and won five times in the aftermath of his one and only defeat in the ring.

He most recently brought 58-year-old Mike Tyson out of retirement for a controversial clash on Netflix.

And despite the scrutiny surrounding the fight, over 100 MILLION tuned in to watch Paul’s eight round points win.

Paul, 28, then entered shock talks with Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez, 34, for a mega-bout on May 3 in Las Vegas on the streaming service.

But Canelo pulled out of the deal at the 11th hour to instead sign a four-fight deal with Saudi Arabia’s Turki Alalshikh.

Paul said: “He just missed out on creating arguably the biggest, if not the second biggest fight of all time, which could have potentially beat me and Mike Tyson.

“I think that’s worth more than money, right? Canelo has money, so I think for his legacy and the fan base that he could have tapped into by fighting me.

“He really chose the money over that because they was threatening to pull his $300million contract with Saudi.

“So he chose that versus creating a legacy and doing one of the biggest fights ever.”

The Max Original reality series PAUL AMERICAN debuts THURSDAY, MARCH 27 on Max. Episodes debut weekly leading up to the season finale on Thursday, May 15.
