FOUR heroic England stars have been named in the Euro 2025 team of the tournament.
The Lionesses won their second consecutive European title on Sunday with a 3-1 win on penalties over Spain.

Hannah Hampton was the hero, saving two spot-kicks, while Chloe Kelly smashed home the winner once again.
Alessia Russo had cancelled out Arsenal team-mate Mariona Caldentey’s opener in the second-half to force the clash to extra-time and penalties.
And it was the Lionesses who came out victorious, retaining their European crown.
Following their impressive win, four England stars have been named in Uefa’s team of the tournament.
Hampton was considered the best goalkeeper in Switzerland after being named Player of the Match against Spain.
Lucy Bronze was also named among the top stars – despite playing the entire tournament with a fractured tibia.
After the final, the right-back said: “I actually played the whole tournament with a fractured tibia, but no-one knew.
“I just hurt my knee today on the other leg. That is why I got a lot of praise from the girls after the Sweden game because I have been in a lot of pain.

“But if that’s what it takes to play for England, that’s what I’ll do – they know that. We inspire each other by playing through things like that and it got us to the end, in the end.”
Russo was considered the best striker at the tournament having scored two and assisted three goals.

And Kelly earned a place in the team despite not starting a single match for England.
The winger made some crucial goal contributions after coming off the bench for the Lionesses.
She assisted Bronze’s goal to kick off England’s comeback against Sweden in the quarter-finals.
Kelly also scored the winner for the nation in last week’s semi-final against Italy.
And she netted the decisive penalty in the shootout against Spain.
At full-time, the Arsenal star said: “I was adamant I wasn’t missing two on the bounce.
“I was cool, I was composed. I knew I was going to hit the back of the net. I don’t miss penalties twice.”
Spain stars Aitana Bonmati, Alexia Putellas, Patri Guijarro and Irene Paredes also made the team of the tournament, as did Germany duo Franziska Kett and Jule Brand.
Italy centre-back Elena Linari completed the squad.
