A 12-YEAR-OLD schoolgirl has vanished after she was spotted heading towards a park late at night.
Michaella Brown-Lownds, 12, was seen walking towards Western Park in Leicester at 10pm yesterday before she disappeared.

Although the Leicestershire Police have not released details about the youngster’s movements before her disappearance, the force has shared her description as part of its appeal.
Michaella has been described as 5ft tall and as being of medium build.
Cops added that the schoolgirl has shoulder-length, straight brown hair.
She was last seen wearing tan trousers, white crop top, a black hooded top and black Crocs.
Leicestershire Police are now urging members of the public with any information regarding Michaella’s whereabouts to come forward.
The force also believes that she has links with the Derbyshire area.
Anyone who sees her or has information regarding her disappearance should contact 101, quoting incident 727 on August 9.
In a public appeal, a spokesperson for the police said: “Officers are appealing for public help after a 12-year-old girl was reported missing.
“Michaella Brown-Lownds was last seen heading towards Western Park in Leicester just after 10pm yesterday evening (Saturday 9 August).
“Michaella is 5ft tall, medium build, with shoulder length straight brown hair.
“She was last seen wearing tan trousers, a white crop top, a black hooded top and black Crocs.”
Facebook users flooded the comments section of the police appeal.
One wrote: “Shared in Coalville, hope she is found safe.”
Others shared the details of Facebook groups dedicated to sharing photographs of missing people, as part of the effort to find Michaella.
