COPS have launched an urgent appeal after two teenagers vanished during the Easter Bank holidays.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Paige Southern, 16, and Tyler Burlinson, 13, should get in touch with Northumbria Police.
Tyler is described as a white male with short brown hair – last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, with a blue tracksuit top, and black trainers
Paige is described as a white female, around 5ft5ins tall, with long straight brown hair, and a tongue piercing
Cops launched the probe believing the pair went missing after visiting The Galleries in Sunderland on Sunday afternoon.
Neither of the teenagers returned home.
Tyler has been described as a white male with short brown hair.
He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms with a black tracksuit top and black trainers.
Paige is around 5ft 5in tall with long, straight brown hair.
She also has a tongue piercing.
Cops believe the pair have linked to the Washington area but could have utilised public transport making their exact whereabouts more difficult to predict.
The full appeal on social media reads: “MISSING | Have you seen Paige Southern, 16, and Tyler Burlinson, 13? The pair were reported missing after visiting The Galleries in Washington on Sunday afternoon, and failing to return home.
“Tyler is described as a white male with short brown hair – last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms, with a blue tracksuit top, and black trainers. Paige is described as a white female, around 5ft5ins tall, with long straight brown hair, and a tongue piercing.
“She was last seen wearing dark coloured leggings, with a black padded Canada Goose coat, and black glittery trainers. They are believed to be in Sunderland and have links to the Washington area – but could be using public transport to travel around.
“Bank and school holidays are a busy time for missing people, so we’d like to thank everyone for their continued support. Each report is treated on a case-by-case basis, and we’d ask people not to speculate about anyone’s personal circumstances online.
