Frantic search for missing woman, 43, as ‘extremely concerned’ cops urge witnesses to call 999 ‘immediately’

COPS have launched a frantic search for a missing woman who was last seen carrying a Sainsbury’s bag.

Candice Pedder, 43, was last spotted in Southampton, Hampshire, at around 1.45pm yesterday.

Candice was last seen in the Sandhurst Road area, wearing a green hoodie with black trousers and carrying a handbag.

Hampshire Police confirmed they were “extremely concerned” for her welfare.

Officers have been carrying out searches for Candice, who is described as white with black hair in a ponytail.

In a statement, the force said: “Can you help us find missing woman, Candice Pedder, from Southampton?

“Candice, 43, was last seen in the Sandhurst Road area of Southampton at approximately 1.45pm today (Monday 18 August).

“She was last seen wearing a green hooded top, black trousers, white trainers and carrying a handbag and Sainsbury’s bag.

“We’ve been carrying out searches in the area for Candice but are extremely concerned for her welfare and are now turning to you, the public, for your help.

“If you see Candice, or spot anyone matching this description on your travels this evening, please call us immediately on 999, quoting incident number 44250373250.”
