BRISTOL ROVERS vs Crawley

Bristol Rovers’ form hasn’t been outstanding of late, but there’s good reason to think the Gas can get things back on track against Crawley Town this weekend.

Home advantage is a big one with Matt Taylor’s side collecting 13 of their 17 points at the Memorial Stadium. They’ve also never lost to Saturday’s opponents at home, winning four of their last six meetings.

Only Burton and Cambridge United have a worse away record than Rob Elliot’s Crawley, who’ve picked up just four from a possible 21 points on the road.

Newport vs GRIMSBY

Home advantage isn’t really as big an issue in this encounter with visitors Grimsby having won their last five away league games – they’ve never won six in a row on the road in the Football League.

Hosts Newport, meanwhile, have lost six of their last eight in all competitions, and have failed to win any of their last four Football League games against Grimsby Town – failing to score more than one goal in any of those matches.

ACCRINGTON vs Swindon

Accrington Stanley will be hopeful of making it four successive wins on the bounce in all competitions when Swindon arrive at the Wham Stadium this weekend.

They might be lurking in 18th position, but John Doolan’s side are steadily improving after a shocking start and have only lost to sixth-placed MK Dons in their last seven (W5, D1, L1). They’ve also won three of their last four against Swindon.

Swindon are languishing down in 22nd position in the League Two standings, and have taken 47 points from the 52 league matches with three different managers in that spell and just two league wins all season.
