Experienced Frenchman Lecomte, 34, signed a two-year deal after leaving Montpellier and is expected to be back-up to No1 Bernd Leno.
Lecomte has spent the majority of his career in his homeland with only loan spells at Atletico Madrid and Espanyol seeing him leave.
Fulham feel they have a strong and decent-sized squad as it is, and their primary focus has been on keeping hold of their current talent.
That has seen them tie down full-back Kenny Tete to a new contract, despite a tempting offer from Everton for the Dutchman.
Bids are understood to have been resisted for Rodrigo Muniz, Adama Traore, Antonee Robinson and Joachim Andersen, while there is an internal focus on providing a pathway for the club’s young talent.
Muniz had been linked with a move to Leeds while Traore was tipped with a move to Nottingham Forest.
One young star with high hopes around him is Josh King, 18, after he made eight appearances in the Premier League last term.
They are confident they have two good players in each position and are unlikely to add to the wage bill unless they really feel the need to do so.

Boss Silva also feels it is a priority to keep hold of the team’s best players.
But he was also expecting more signings to have been delivered by now, with the season-opener at Brighton just nine days away.
His representatives held exploratory talks last season over a new contract.
But the likelihood at present of Silva, who has turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia to stay at Fulham in the past, renewing terms is extremely slim now given his frustration.
