Greater Manchester Police today confirmed two men have now been charged with murder.
Michal Jaroslaw Polchowski, 68, and Marcin Majerkiewicz, 42, are due to appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court later this afternoon.
Officers are still working to formally identify the victim but believe is a local man in his 60s.
It is understood the two defendants are known to the man, who may have died at the house they reportedly shared in Winton in March.
The horror unfolded in Kersal Dale Wetlands on April 4 when a headless torso was found wrapped in plastic by a passer-by.
Police revealed over the weekend that further human remains had been discovered but did not disclose any other information.
