FURIOUS MPs today demanded to know why chemical attack fugitive Abdul Ezedi was granted asylum in Britain AFTER being convicted of a sex attack.
The Clapham attacker, originally from Afghanistan, was smuggled into Britain illegally on the back of a lorry in 2016.

PAA major manhunt is underway to find Abdul Ezedi who threw a corrosive substance hitting a woman and her two children[/caption]
In 2018 he was found guilty of a sex offence.
He was then twice refused asylum in the UK before being granted to remain in 2021.
A priest vouched for Ezedi’s conversion Christianity to aid his application and argued the attacker was “wholly committed” to his new religion.
Despairing MPs lashed out at the Home Office for failing to deport the known sex offender and granting him asylum in the first place.

Co-Chair of the New Conservatives group Miriam Cates said: “This man should never have been granted asylum in this country and we need to get to the bottom of how he was able to be granted leave to remain.
“This brings home the enormous security threat that this country faces from thousands of illegal migrants entering the UK each year.”
Former Minister Neil O’Brien said: “Officials have decided we can’t deport people to a NATO ally (Turkey).
“What about the ‘safety’ of people in the UK? The balance is all wrong.”
Everything we know…
Chief suspect Abdul Ezedi is a convicted sex offender and former asylum seeker
Cops have released a new photo, showing him with a melted face an hour after the attack
Video shows a figure fleeing through the darkness after a chemical attack
The 31-year-old woman and her daughters, aged 3 and 8, all remain in hospital
The family is feared to have been deliberately targeted in the horror
Referencing the case of Mike Freer standing down as an MP due to threats from Islamic extremists, Ex-Cabinet Minister Sir Simon Clarke commented: “There can be no disputing how awful these separate incidents are.
“The debate around the integration the UK should expect, demand, is in many ways as important as that around immigration. And we need to have it.”
Former Deputy Tory Chairman Lee Anderson added: “They should find him and send him straight back. No messing about.”
This morning Children’s Minister David Johnston refused to comment on Ezedi’s immigration status.
He told Sky News: “I don’t have his case file and I can’t say anything that might affect the police‘s investigation here.
“He is still at large and what we really need is anyone with information to come forward in order that he can be apprehended, given he is police’s key suspect.
“But on your broader point, it’s vital that we end the asylum merry-go-round that we have seen and that’s what the Safety of Rwanda Bill is all about.”
Ezedi, 35, from Newcastle, is still at large after 12 people were injured in the horror attack in at 7.25pm yesterday – and cops are urging people not to approach him.
The victims include a mum who wrestled with the chemical maniac who doused her and her young kids with a corrosive liquid, then tried to run her over.
Members of the public and cops were also burned as they rushed to the family’s aid.
Witnesses have told how after the horrific attack the woman staggered blindly along the street wailing: “I can’t see. I can’t see.”
The vulnerable victim — believed to have been living in hiding from Afghan refugee Abdul Ezedi — was targeted on Wednesday evening.
