GARY NEVILLE told Jamie Carragher to f*** off as the former Liverpool defender performed a U-turn on Mo Salah.

With Liverpool involved in a 3-3 thriller at Newcastle, there was always going to be chaos back in the studio.

Carragher recently called Salah “selfish” after the Egyptian claimed that he was “more out than in” at Anfield.

Salah, 32, is set to be out of contract at the end of the season, with Paris Saint-Germain having been linked with making a swoop.

Following the winger’s sensational performance against Newcastle last night, Carragher changed his tune.

After Salah’s assist for Curtis Jones made it 1-1, Carra said: “Get in, Go ahead Curtis lad. 1-1.

“Get paid. Give him [Salah] what he wants. Yeah he was [selfish] but he’s not now.”

Anthony Gordon put Newcastle back in front, before Salah scored to level again for the Reds.

“Goal! The Redmen are back,” Carra screamed. “Mo Salah give him what he wants! Give him what he wants lad!”

As Carragher celebrated, Neville said: “Oh no. Sit down you over there!”

He then grimaced as he was bear-hugged by Carragher.

Wright made Carra nervous that VAR could get involved.

But when the goal was swiftly given, the former Reds defender breathed a sigh of relief.

He then added: “What a finish! Why don’t they just give him the contract?”

When Salah scored again to put Liverpool 3-2 in front, Carragher repeated: “Give him what he wants.”

‘ASKING FOR A DRAW’

This is when it all got too much for Neville.

The former Manchester United star huffed: “F*** off honestly. Sat there asking for a draw, honestly.”

And that’s exactly what happened, with Fabian Schar levelling in the 90th minute for the Toon.

After the thrilling game, Liverpool boss Arne Slot was bullish over Salah’s future.

He told Amazon Prime Video: “Every time we need Mo Salah he scores a goal.

“We are hoping and expecting he can continue this for a long time. He was outstanding in the second half, he did many special things for us.”
