A YOUNG girl has been rushed to hospital after falling from a third-storey window.
The child, 2, fell from the height at a property in Keighley, West Yorkshire, yesterday at around 8.40am, cops said.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and discovered the girl with serious injuries.
However, these are not believed to be life-threatening, West Yorkshire Police said.
Police have now launched an investigation into how the young girl fell.
Officers were spotted at the scene yesterday as enquiries were undertaken.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “At 8.41 this morning, officers were called by the ambulance service to a concern for safety call at an address on Ingrow Lane, Keighley.
“It’s reported that a 2-year-old girl had fallen from a third story window.
“The child has been taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening injuries.
“Officers remain at the scene whilst enquiries are carried out to establish the full circumstances of the fall.”
