The “race that stops a nation” was won by rank outsider Knight’s Choice after a photo finish to stun the rest of the field at Flemington Racecourse in Australia.

Victorious jockey Robbie Dolan – who became a huge star in Australia after appearing on The Voice – was cheered on by celeb fans from the stands.
This included British film actress and model Liz Hurley, who stunned in a white dress.
The Bedazzled star’s dress was embossed with flower patterns and paired with a pair of heels.
She was also joined by her son Damian on another day of the event in which she opted for a yellow dress.
There were also a few stars from Australian reality TV blessing the concourse during race day.
Tayla Broad from the country’s version of Love Island wore a red gown with long black gloves as she strutted up the red carpet.
