Trans mayhem
DID Whitehall’s left-wing trans activists give a moment’s thought to the dangers of imposing gender wokery on official data?
Over a decade they erased the real sex of NHS patients, criminals and others from crucial Government stats.
GettyBiological sex has been erased from official health data[/caption]
The result? Chaos.
Cancer referrals missed.
Previous convictions overlooked.
Biological sex MUST be recorded, not the gender someone now claims to be.
Prof Alice Sullivan, who led a Government review into this scandal, wants a probe into civil service impartiality in compiling official statistics.
Quite right.
Who decided to erase sex data — and are they still employed?
Zero sense
WE can only shudder at the Government’s complacency over the secret Whitehall report confirming Net Zero’s ruinous cost.
It still insists Net Zero “is the economic opportunity of the 21st Century” and “will deliver jobs, growth and energy security as part of our Plan for Change”.
That’s a tired screed of fatuous, evidence-free soundbites direct from the addled mind of Ed Miliband.
The public aren’t buying it.
We can all see bills soaring, not falling as promised.
We see zero growth, the economy in freefall, benefits cut, the Chancellor seeking huge spending reductions.
The game is up for this eco fantasy.
Tory leader Kemi Badenoch admits it.
How long until the PM does too, and sacks Miliband before the damage is permanent?
Fin excuse
SO much for the “coalition of the willing” on Ukraine’s defence. The French aren’t even willing to use EU money to buy vital British-made weapons.
First, Brussels says, we must sign up to an EU defence pact . . . and surrender more FISH to the French. Yes, fish.
Our Prime Minister aims to co-ordinate Europe’s unified defence of a sovereign nation, and the continent itself, against a nuclear-armed imperialist tyrant.
The French, as ever petulant over Brexit, first want more herring. It beggars belief.
Red card
KEIR Starmer and Rachel Reeves have realised commendably quickly that Britain’s scores of well-funded and well-paid regulators are a drag on growth.
They’ve fired one boss and are threatening to scrap other bodies entirely.
There are now rumours the upcoming new football regulator could go too, or at least have its powers limited.
The Premier League is a massive British success story, pours billions into the economy and is one of our best exports.
If the Government is truly serious about growth, it knows what it must do.
