And as a result, the World No 1 took home a staggering £150,000 cash reward.

Humphries will be expected to retain his title and he’ll be encouraged by the fact that the other hot favourite Luke Littler has stumbled at the first round in his last THREE consecutive tournaments.

However, The Nuke is capable of cranking up the heat when necessary, furthermore, this year’s prize pot will be more of an incentive for Littler and others to be on their A game.
