A “GURNING” care worker knifed a partygoer in the back and injured two others in a booze-fuelled rampage after telling them: “I will kill you”.

Elisha Boniwell, 22, flew into an “out of control” rage at the Swansea house party – grappling with one female guest on the ground.

She then pulled out a kitchen knife and brandished it over her head as she waved it around in a figure of eight motion.

Boniwell stabbed one of the revellers in the back and lunged at another before horrified partygoers managed to wrestle the blade out of her hand.

Two guests who stepped in to help were left with cuts on their hands and fingers, while the third was taken to hospital in the horror.

Boniwell has now been allowed to keep her job as a care worker despite admitting unlawful wounding and two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The yob, who was handed a 16 month suspended sentence, had been hauled before a misconduct panel.

She begged to keep her job as a domiciliary social care worker, telling the hearing: “I love my job and I do go above and beyond for my clients.

“It’s such a horrible thing that happened so long ago and just being able to stay and prove that it’s not the person written down on the wording.

“I have come a long way and I’d love nothing more than to continue working in social care.”

Panel chair Farida Aslam said she had breached profession’s code of conduct but removing her from the register would be “unnecessary and counterproductive.”

The house party attack unfolded on July 21, 2020, when Boniwell was aged 19.

After becoming intoxicated, she became abusive to a group of people – pointing at them all individually as she branded each one a “p**y”.

Swansea Crown Court heard she then launched into the knife attack and was described as “hopelessly and embarrassingly drunk”.

Boniwell, of Swansea, was handed a nine month warning on her care record.
