March of fools
THE moral gulf between Israel and Hamas cannot be wider or clearer now, even surely to flag-waving protest march halfwits.
They are at war over a heinous terrorist atrocity.
APPalestinians celebrate on a destroyed Israeli tank in the Gaza Strip[/caption]
Yet Israel still wants innocent Palestinians to move to the south of Gaza to avoid the coming firestorm.
It airdrops leaflets telling them to stay out of harm’s way as best they can.
Israel is a liberal democracy.
It has no desire to kill citizens.
It is making great efforts to avoid it.
Hamas, though, needs them as shields.
It has told the population to stay put.
It uses their suffering for propaganda.
What fools these foul cut-throats make of the naive lefties parading through our streets vacuously chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free”.
Do they have the faintest idea what that really means?
It doesn’t mean a benign “liberation” from Gaza to live alongside Jews in harmony.
It means ridding the region of all Jews — the specific aim of mass-murdering Hamas and its Iranian sponsors.
Within Gaza the fanatics have raised a generation of brainwashed, hate-filled thugs to carry it out . . . to consider Jews animals to be exterminated.
Is a new Holocaust what our student radicals, social media blowhards and Corbynite academics want?
It cannot be.
But some openly anti Semitic extremists plainly do.
We should ban their incendiary pro-Palestine protests, as France has.
Britain must be a safe place for Jews.
As it stands, our police will arrest anyone “celebrating” terrorism.
But these demonstrators celebrate it by definition.
They know about the mutilated babies, the kidnapped women and children, the executed Holocaust survivors.
They still think Israel had it coming.
They paint it as “hardline” and witlessly call it a “terror state”.
What a sick joke.
Look at the fascist, racist murderers — ACTUAL terrorists — they have effectively sided with, while somehow still considering themselves unimpeachably liberal.
Hamas must be overjoyed to have filled the West with so many useful idiots.
Footie shame
WE wonder if the FA’s “inclusion” chief knew what he meant when he posted “Free Palestine” on Twitter.
It was ten years ago and Deji Davies may have written it as glibly as others.
But that, and his strident anti-Israel remarks, reveal much about him and maybe his employers.
It may account for the staggering moral cowardice of the FA, which consulted him before refusing to illuminate Wembley in Israeli colours last night for fear of having picked a side.
The Premier League is equally gutless, as its Israeli equivalent points out.
The West’s major nations have backed Israel unflinchingly and projected its flag on landmarks.
Have the FA and the Prem let personal prejudice sway them against following suit?
