Harrow ‘stabbing’: Boy, 16, ‘knifed’ near primary school in horror attack

A “STABBING” outside a primary school in northwest London saw a 16-year-old boy taken to hospital.

The horror attack happened in Harrow yesterday with police and ambulances attending the scene just after students left for the day.

Whitefriars Avenue was cordoned off by police yesterday evening as they investigated the incident.

Locals reported that police had responded to a stabbing, Harrow Online reported.

An image of the cordon appeared to show it set up next to Whitefriars school – a fully integrated three to 18 all-through school.

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service (LAS) at 16:20hrs on Wednesday, 15 May to reports of a teenager stabbed on Whitefriars Avenue in Harrow.

“Officers attended. The 16-year-old boy was taken to hospital by the LAS. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“A crime scene is in place.

“At this early stage there have been no arrests and enquiries continue.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 5520/15May.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson told Harrow Online: “We were called at 4:19pm today (May 15) to reports of an incident near Whitefriars Avenue in Harrow.”

“We sent resources to the scene including ambulance crews and an incident response officer.”

“We treated a patient at the scene before taking him to a major trauma centre.”
