Despite a huge search and multiple appeals for information, the 25-year-old’s body has never been found.
Now, on the 20th anniversary of her disappearance, police have released never-before-seen CCTV in a bid to solve the case.
It shows Lisa’s final hours as she entered the Saltwater Brig pub in County Down, Northern Ireland, on the afternoon of February 26.
She was later seen entering and leaving the Lock & Quay – now the Groomsport Inn – the night before.
Lisa was last seen alive on February 27 at a party in Ballyhalbert Caravan Park.
Police believe she was murdered that night or in the early hours of the following morning.
Detective Chief Inspector Kerrie Foreman, from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team, said: “Lisa Dorrian was a young woman – just 25 years old – when she was murdered.
“Twenty years have now passed. That’s 20 long years of unimaginable torment for a loving family.
“Yet, despite their pain, they’ve never given up their search for answers and, likewise, our determination has remained steadfast.
“We’re releasing CCTV footage, along with still images.
“This is the last known footage of Lisa in the run-up to her disappearance. My hope is to jog memories, and to encourage anyone with information to speak up.”
The force began treating Lisa’s disappearance as a murder probe almost immediately after she vanished.
While no trace of Lisa was found, her handbag and belongings were discovered at the party.
Crimestoppers have now offered a £20,000 reward in the hope the mystery can be solved.
Her family joined police in pleading for information, saying: “Twenty years of secrecy could be ended with a single phone call.”
Lisa’s sister Joanne Dorrian said she would have “laughed and joked with these people” at the party unaware they would cause her harm.
She continued: “Our family has never been the same since the day we got the news that Lisa went missing.
“Our mum went to her grave never knowing what happened to her beautiful first-born daughter.”
Det Ch Insp Foreman said those with information that are yet to come forward “must surely have a troubled conscience”.
She added: “Lisa wasn’t just a name or an image on a photo or screen.
“She was a real person – a young woman with a family that love and continue to miss her dearly.
“They deserve to know what happened to her and they deserve justice.”
Anyone with information can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
