HAUNTING footage shows the final moments of Brianna Ghey before she was “stabbed 28 times by torture-obsessed teens”.

A girl and a boy, known only as X and Y for legal reasons, are accused of murdering Brianna Ghey on February 11 in a park near Warrington.

New footage has now emerged revealing her final moments

CCTV showed Brianna leaving her home at around 12.45pm

The transgender girl, 16, was found knifed 28 times in a park near Warrington, jurors at Manchester Crown Court heard.

The schoolgirl had been lured to the park by the teens, who were both 15 at the time of the killing.

Doorbell footage has now emerged showing the moment Brianna left her home before taking the bus and meeting her alleged killers.

CCTV played to jurors showed Brianna leaving her home at around 12.45pm.

Prosecutor Deanna Heer KC said Brianna had a “very distinctive look” – with long red hair, glasses, wearing a “fluffy white jacket”, a tartan grey skirt and over the knee white socks and white plimsolls, holding a bag over her shoulder.

Shortly after, she texted her mother Esther Ghey saying: “I’m leaving to go see Girl X, dogs are locked up.”

Footage also showed Brianna walking to the bus stop, before waiting for around 20 to 30 minutes and jumping into the bus.

Brianna then messaged a friend on Snapchat saying: “I’m so anxious. I’m at the bus.”

In a statement read in court, bus driver Kieran Mercer said: “From the moment I saw her I just felt there was something odd about her.

“I felt as if she was going out of her way not to be seen.” He described her as being ‘timid’ and ‘quietly spoken’.

Mr Mercer added: “She just gave the impression she was someone who just wanted to be left alone.”

The defendants then appeared on the clip meeting Brianna as she got off the bus at 1.53pm.

Rachel Powell, whose son is Brianna’s mother partner, claimed she spotted Brianna walking with two people on the pavement.

Although jurors were told that there was no CCTV footage of the park, witnesses in the park at the time said they noticed three teenagers.

The court heard they had shared chilling text messages leading up to Brianna’s death about Y’s crush on X’s pal, A.

Jurors heard the teens were “preoccupied with violence, torture and death” and “encouraged one another to to think about how they would actually carry out a killing”.

They originally planned to meet Brianna on January 28 but Y said he would not be able to carry out the killing on a “school night”, it was said.

Jurors heard how X and Y had “planned together to kill Brianna in just the way that she was in fact killed”.

The pair had also allegedly compiled a list of four people they wanted to kill in addition to Brianna.

When officers then raided her home, they discovered another note with a “plan to kill”, it was said.

Girl X, from Warrington, and Boy Y, from Leigh, both deny murder.
