THIS is the dramatic moment brave Ukrainian special forces faced relentless enemy fire to evacuate a wounded comrade.

A gripping video showed the soldiers’ unwavering courage amid the chaos of war in Vovchansk, near Kharkiv, and Chasiv Yar, in Donetsk Oblast.

In the action-packed clip, troops from the 8th Special Operations Forces Regiment are shown executing a daring evacuation under heavy Russian mortar fire.

They were also seen repelling enemy attacks and clearing residential areas devastated by artillery.

One particularly harrowing scene depicts the soldiers navigating a ruined village, where houses are engulfed in flames and debris litters the streets.

Walking through the destruction — burnt-out cars, collapsed homes, and towering piles of rubble — they move with purpose, unfazed by the chaos surrounding them.

Their exceptional act of bravery was praised across social media, with one user saying: “Hearts of Gold, Balls of Titanium. Glory to Ukraine!”

More intense fighting carried on during the night, illuminated only by the glow of flares and muzzle flashes as shots rang out.

In another segment of the video, soldiers can be seen moving through tunnels and clearing residential areas of enemy forces.

The regiment’s seamless teamwork and tactical precision are evident, showing once again the resolve of Ukraine’s special operations units.

It comes as a heroic Ukrainian soldier dubbed “The Godfather” scared off six of Vladimir Putin’s men on the battlefield.

Footage showed the brave Ukrainian firing endless rounds at the cowardly enemy as he pushes them back through a trench wearing only a T-shirt.

As the flames of war rage on, Kyiv has drastically ramped up in recent days as an evil Putin looks to defeat Ukraine once and for all.

Kyiv launched US ATACMS missiles against Putin’s territory overnight last week – and British Storm Shadow rockets a few days later.

A top Russian general and up to 500 North Korean troops helping out Russia were wiped out in the strikes, say reports.

The attack by Ukraine last Wednesday is said to have wiped out Lt-Gen Valery Solodchuk.

As US-based Global Defense Corp reported that hundreds of North Korean soldiers were lost in the blast.

There was also a suggestion that one of North Korean despot Kim Jong-un’s generals was injured.

The move angered an already paranoid Putin as it showed the West was ready to defend Ukraine with all its power.

In retaliation, the Russian tyrant enacted a new nuclear policy last week, lowering the threshold for a first strike if Russia feels threatened by a nuclear-backed adversary.

Shortly after, Russia deployed a new hypersonic ballistic missile, which hit the city of Dnipro, leaving widespread devastation.

Forensic analysis revealed the missile’s remains, which were heavily damaged.

Putin claims the weapon, capable of travelling at ten times the speed of sound, is nearly impossible to intercept.

The ageing despot warned the UK and US that this weapon could be used against them, with reports indicating Russia might possess up to ten of these missiles.

Putin vowed to continue their deployment as part of a broader strategy to escalate the conflict.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and his government are urging resilience amid ongoing attacks, including cyber threats that could disrupt power grids and internet infrastructure.

The growing threat has prompted warnings from British officials at NATO about the risks of cyber warfare.

A senior NATO chief also warned that Europe must prepare for total war with Putin as nations are stepping up both military and civilian defences amid rising tensions.

It comes after two US Stratofortress bombers carried out a mission flying near Russian airspace on Monday in a powerful show of force to Moscow.

Meanwhile, the dad of James Scott Rhys Anderson – an ex-Brit soldier trapped in Russian captivity – has also spoken out about the horrors of Vlad’s regime.

Scott fears his son will be “tortured” inside Putin’s hellish prisons after the 22-year-old was understood to have been taken prisoner during fierce fighting in Russia’s Kursk region.

How Ukraine could turn war around in WEEKS using US missiles

EXCLUSIVE by Sayan Bose, Foreign News Reporter, and Georgie English, Foreign News Reporter

After 1,000 days of Vlad’s gruelling war in Ukraine, the conflict has left more than a million soldiers and civilians dead or wounded.

Putin’s forces invaded their neighbouring nation in February 2022 as part of the deluded tyrant’s plan to rebuild the Soviet Union amid his paranoid fears over Nato.

Almost three years later, Kyiv’s battle-weary troops are fighting to the death on multiple fronts.

They have faced several setbacks in the grinding conflict as Russia has made slow but incremental gains over Ukrainian territory.

But the green light from the US that now allows Ukraine to use long-range ATACMS missiles could be a game changer, an expert has said.

Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon told The Sun how Ukraine could turn the war around in six weeks when provided with unwavering support from key allies in the West.

The former British army officer said Washington’s decision to allow Ukraine to use ATACMS is a “significant development”.

He explained: “Since day one Putin and his close aides have been threatening a nuclear strike if we escalate it, and today is the 1,000th day of this conflict, and it hasn’t happened.

“It should embolden our leaders, who must now realise that Putin’s threats are completely hollow.

“With the Russian boxer on the ropes, now is the time that we enable the Ukrainians to absolutely put in the killer punch and be in a really good position for the expected ceasefire.”

He added: “The fact that the Russians have been so vehement in their verbal attacks against the use of Nato missiles shows that this is a significant step.

“It could allow Ukraine to gain a good position in [the next] six weeks which will be important for Zelensky if Trump forces a ceasefire after getting back in office.”
