SIX people are dead after a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River.
A helicopter crashed into the Hudson River separating Manhattan and Jersey City just after 3 pm on Thursday afternoon.
At least six people were killed in the crash, officials told the Associated Press. The chopper was reportedly carrying adults and children.
Emergency crews are racing to the tragic scene as video shows the helicopter flipping upside down into the river.
Horrifying video from terrified onlookers shows the helicopter completely submerged in the water.
The cause of the crash is unclear.
