HORROR unfolded as a car ploughed into a Central London bus stop and left nine people in hospital this morning.
Pedestrians were terrified as a vehicle lost control and veered off the road at a bus stop in Aldwych, London, at around 3.30am.
It is not yet known the condition of the eight wounded pedestrians
The London Ambulance Service rushed nine people, including the driver, to hospital following the smash.
A man in his 20s has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
A Met Police spokesperson added: “Enquiries into the circumstances continue.
“At this stage, the incident is not being treated as terror related.”

The condition of the eight wounded pedestrians has not yet been revealed.
Details of the injured are being withheld until more information about their condition has been updated, confirmed the force.
Aldwych is now closed in both directions between Waterloo Bridge and Kingsway, as a police cordon is in place.
