A MAN has been shot dead on a quiet residential street and two others rushed to hospital – as cops hunt the gunman.
Police were called at around 10.10am this morning after reports of a shooting in the area of Wells Park Road, Sydenham, south east London.

Despite the best efforts of paramedics, a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman, found with gunshot wounds to the legs, was rushed to hospital in non-life threatening condition.
A third victim subsequently arrived at hospital with suspected gunshot wounds.
Their condition is not yet known.
No arrests have been made and cops are urgently hunting the gunman.
Police cordons are expected to remain in the area while investigations continue.
Residents with any information that could help have been urged to contact the force, or speak to patrolling officers.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Officers are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal shooting in Sydenham.
“Police were called at around 10:10hrs on Sunday, 10 November, to reports of a shooting in the area of Wells Park Road, SE26.
“Officers attended along with ambulance colleagues and found a man suffering gunshot injuries. Despite their efforts, the man sadly died at the scene.
“Enquiries are under way to establish his identity and contact his family. A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
“A woman was also found suffering gunshot injuries to her legs. She has been taken to hospital, however her condition is not life-threatening.
“A third person subsequently attended hospital with what are believed to be gunshot injuries. We await a condition assessment.
“There has been no arrest at this early stage.”
Commander Peter Stevens added: “I know people will be shocked by this senseless act of violence, all the more so on a Sunday morning in a residential area.
“I share their concerns and can assure the local community that the Met’s response, alongside our partners, has been rapid.
“We are determined to safeguard the community, to get to the bottom of what happened here and bring those responsible to justice.
“You will see a considerable number of additional officers in the area, including forensic experts.
“Police cordons are likely to remain in place for some time so that they can carry out their vital work.
“Officers will also be patrolling the area. I urge anyone with information to speak with those officers.
“A number of people have already contacted us, and we need that flow of information from anyone who saw or heard anything of note to continue.
“We also need to hear from anyone who has phone, CCTV or doorbell footage that may help the investigation.”
