TWO people have been killed in a devastating house fire after a blaze erupted in the early hours of the morning.

Firefighters dashed to an address on The Coppice in Stoke Aldermoor, Coventry, at around 4.50am.

West Midlands Police confirmed that two people were found dead following the fire.

A spokesperson said: “Sadly, two people were confirmed dead at the scene and we are now working to identify them.

“Our officers are liaising closely with West Midlands Fire Service, who are working to identify the cause of the fire.”
