They broke into the Gran Templo del Billar bar on Saturday night before one of them snuck into the main pool hall.
He stayed for several minutes whilst trying to identify his target before opening fire and killing two people in Villa des Rosario, near the Venezuelan border.
The disturbing incident was captured by a social media livestream which was being broadcast to fans at the time of the attack.
Dramatic footage showed the players peacefully playing, with one about to clear the table, before everyone suddenly ducks down for cover.
The panicked spectators hurry together away from the table as the camera is knocked off of its stand.
Gunshots ring out, scaring the viewers and players away from the sporting event.
Two victims have so far been identified as Edwin Uribe, a well-known currency trader, and Samir Olarte, owner of a motorcycle store.
George Quintero, Secretary of Citizen Security for Norte de Santander, said in a social media post: “Last night, two people died and four were found injured.
“We are offering a reward of up to £9,353 (COP 50 million) for information leading to a clarification of the events.
“Many people saw the suspect who initially entered the hall before he killed one of the people there, and unfortunately, during his escape, he also hit several people.”
The four injured victims were taken to the Duarte Medical Clinic, according to local media, but there have been no further updates on their current condition.
The authorities have not ruled out the possibility that the shooting was related to a criminal gang operating on the border between Colombia and Venezuela.
The investigation is ongoing.
