AWORKINPROGRESS (2.12 Lingfield, nap)

Can get the job done and keep up his 100 per cent chasing record. Nick Gifford’s five-year-old struck on debut over fences at Stratford before matching that form with a course and distance win three weeks ago. He likes cut in the ground and can defy an 8lb rise.

KYNTARA (1.15 Newbury, nb)

Has some classy hurdles form on his CV, including a second in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last season. He was second on his sole run over fences in 2022 and his front-running style should be ideal in this small field.

TIGHTENOURBELTS (12.50 Ludlow, treble)

Jumped beautifully when winning from the front at Exeter last time. A 3lb rise looks more than fair and he sees out this trip strongly.

CABHFUILFUNGI (2.35 Ludlow, lucky 15)

Is a commentator’s nightmare but completes our Lucky 15. He has been close second on his past two outings and the form of his last run looks stronger than this.
